Normalized Burnt Index

Calculates Normalized Burnt Index(NBI) from satellite images.

Description

Normalized Burnt Index (NBI) is calculated from multispectral images using near-infrared (NIR) and SWIR wavelengths, pixel by pixel with a simple algorithm.
The NBI is most appropriate for fire impact monitoring. Darker pixels indicate burnt areas.

Sentinel-2 Level 2 (GeoTIFF) -> Normalized Burnt Index
Landsat-8 Level 1 (GeoTIFF) -> Normalized Burnt Index
