Calculate Atmospherically Resistant Vegetation Index (ARVI) for satellite photos.
ARVI Calculator takes photos from an optical satellite and calculates Atmospherically Resistant Vegetation Index (ARVI). It produces georeferenced raster output, which can be inspected visually or used for further processing. The output can be opened in GIS tools like QGIS or ArcGIS.
This block supports input from the following data blocks:
- Landsat-8 Level 1 (GeoTIFF)
- Pléiades Reflectance (Download)
- Sentinel-2 L1C (SAFE)
- Sentinel-2 Level 2 (GeoTIFF)
- SPOT 6/7 Reflectance (Download)
The block outputs ARVI, with variable
y as a RGB GeoTIFF file. With the option
colormap, the user can choose colormap, which will be used in rendering.
It also is possible to get raw output, i.e. single band GeoTIFF file with matrix containing ARVI values.
Important: When using this block in a workflow, the input data block name needs to be correctly defined in the job parameter ‘satellite’ according to the technical documentation.
