Spectral Data Converter - RGB

This block converts multiband images into RGB images.


Spectral Data Converter - RGB takes satellite imagery and generates georeferenced RGB images using formulas provided by the user as parameters. The output can be opened in standard images viewer and also GIS tools like QGIS or ArcGIS.

This tool can be used to:

  • generate simple visualizations of observed data
  • visualize various indices, such as NDVI or EVI, and
  • show data in pseudocolors.

Technical description

Supported input blocks are:

  • Landsat-8 Level 1 (GeoTIFF)
  • Pléiades Reflectance (Download)
  • Pléiades Display (Streaming)
  • Sentinel-2 Level 2 (GeoTIFF)
  • SPOT 6/7 Reflectance (Download)
  • SPOT 6/7 Display (Streaming)

This block produces a RGB GeoTIFF file generated from provided formulas in red, green, blue parameters for the selected satellite.

Important: When using this block in a workflow, the input data block name needs to be correctly defined in the job parameter ‘satellite’ according to the technical documentation.
