Calculate Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index (SAVI) for satellite photos.
SAVI Calculator takes photos from an optical satellite and calculates Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index (SAVI). It produces georeferenced raster output, which can be inspected visually or used for further processing. The output can be opened in GIS tools like QGIS or ArcGIS.
This block supports input from the following data blocks:
- Landsat-8 Level 1 (GeoTIFF)
- Pléiades Reflectance (Download)
- Sentinel-2 L1C (SAFE)
- Sentinel-2 Level 2 (GeoTIFF)
- SPOT 6/7 Reflectance (Download)
The block outputs SAVI, with adjustment factor
L as RGB GeoTIFF file. With the option
colormap, a user can choose colormap, which will be used for rendering. It is also possible to get raw output, i.e. single band GeoTIFF file with matrix containing SAVI values.
Important: When using this block in a workflow, the input data block name needs to be correctly defined in the job parameter ‘satellite’ according to the technical documentation.
