Data collections and processing algorithms

Capture imagery throughout the visible and near-visible spectrum, including multispectral and hyperspectral. In up to 30 cm resolution or 15 cm pansharpened, with data from Airbus, Vantor (formerly Maxar), ISI, Planet, Satellogic, SIIS, 21AT, and more.

Access hyperspectral imagery (up to 5 m resolution) from companies like Pixxel and Wyvern, leveraging its ability to distinguish spectral signatures with a higher degree of accuracy than other imaging methods.

Capture data with sensors mounted on aerial platforms, including planes, drones, and stratospheric balloons. Capable of resolutions up to 1 cm, with data from Bluesky, Getmapping, Globhe, Hexagon, Near Space Labs, and Vexcel.

Synthetic Aperture Radar, or SAR, captures radar images at any time of the day or night. SAR sensors can also penetrate cloud and smoke cover. Resolution up to 25 cm, with data from Airbus, Capella Space, ICEYE, Synspective, Umbra, and more.

Elevation data creates 3D representations of the Earth's surface, with or without surface features like trees and buildings. Available in resolutions of up to 15 cm, with data from Airbus, Bluesky, Hexagon, Intermap, PlanetObserver, and Vexcel.

Lidar is a form of geospatial data collection in which sensors send out laser pulses and collect the returned signals to form point clouds, where every point contains data including longitude, latitude, and elevation. NV5 is UP42’s first Lidar provider partner.

Use processing algorithms to extract insights from Earth observation imagery. Improve spatial resolution through upsampling and pansharpening, or detect changes over time. With algorithms from Airbus, Nara Space, Orbital Insight, Simularity, and more.

All other types of data. With basemaps from Airbus and PlanetSAT, AIS data from Spire Maritime, soil moisture data from ASTERRA, and more.
